What does the theory exam cost?

The standard exam costs 19 euros per attempt in Flanders. You pay per attempt, and after two failures, additional mandatory lessons are required. Here are the rates.

The standard theory exam costs 19 euros per attempt in Flanders. You pay this on-site at the exam center, and you pay again for each new attempt. If you want the exam with audio translation (French, German, or English), there is an additional charge of approximately 35 euros.

What does it cost if you fail?

Each new attempt costs the exam fee again. If you fail twice, you must also take 12 hours of theory lessons at an accredited driving school before you can participate again. Expect an additional cost for those lessons (averaging 100 to 200 euros). Being well-prepared and passing in one go is not only less stressful but also cheaper.
